Post subject:  until i can disable ads poor response time to mouse-clicks

for the past few days i've noticed that nothing works very well until i can disable the ads and also some of the ads can't be disabled at all. is this a hint that i should subscribe to the site so things will work properly or am I just being paranoid? by the way i feel bad about not being a subscriber yet. if it were just a matter of mailing a check someplace, i would have done so. but having to give out my credit card # online is unfamiliar and makes me feel uneasy about security.

best regards,

cecileb

That shouldn't happen, the "Remove Ad" link should always appear (after 10 seconds or so)
above the ad on the right hand side, please let me know when this happens again.

Yes, paranoid :-)

The credit card processing is done by Paypal, the largest payment processor on the internet.
I could accept a check, but here in the UK I'd have to pay a $12 deposit fee :(

But anyway, don't worry about not subscribing..

sorry about the false alarm yesterday. today my photoshop program crashed & i had to restart my computer. afterward, when i got back to this website there wasn't any more trouble with the ads. what a relief!
