I'd like to get to the bottom of the "temporary network error" that people are sometimes seeing when a solution is being submitted: the message "Sorry, there was an error submitting your solution. ... " and "Error codes: 2, 0" (or variations). When this happens, could someone (who is a bit handy with computers & browsers) do the following: in Chrome (Firefox instructions in next post): - press Ctrl + Shift + J (a "developer window" opens at the bottom of your browser) - choose the "Network" option (3rd from the left) - on the left hand side, select "solved.php" (most likely at the top of the list, also see the screenshot below) - in the menu on the right, select "Headers" Next, copy and paste all the info that's in there (either text or screenshot, you may have to enlarge the developer window) and send that to me. Many thanks |

Similar instructions for users of Firefox: - press Ctrl + Shift + K (a "Web Console" window opens at the bottom of the browser) - find the line that says: "POST http://www.calcudoku.org/solved.php [HTTP/1.1 200 OK ...ms]" and select it - a new window opens: "Inspect Network Request". Please send me all info in that window. |
