In today's puzzle menu I am unable to find the Killer Sudoku. Have you discontinued it?

Accessing today's puzzles was problematic. In the past the "today" icon or the refresh icon were all that were necessary. Today I had to log out altogether and log back in.

Also, it doesn't list me as last solver until I leave the puzzle and go back to it. (Actually, this one is no longer happening.)

I'm having the same problem of not being able to access today's puzzles unless I log out and log back in.

Marble.
I apologize.
There are four subscriber only toggles.

One for the number pad. The original vs the new
One for the facebook / twiitter / google + code.
One for the 'solved puzzles' ticker.
One for showing coordinates for each cell.

Another method is to click on the calendar, then on "Today".

I may put the direct "Today" link back in though.

No, there should be 2 Killer Sudoku puzzles available today
(I do see the "Medium" text disappeared for some reason [omg] )

There has been a lot of feedback on the "puzzle menu" so far, via the forum,
forum private message, and email.

Sadly, some people don't bother to write "Hello", nor their name, and send me stuff like:

Quote:
unnecessary and annoying!

and

Quote:
Suddenly the site changed and I can’t see or do my normal puzzles. I think you are trying to get me to register for your games, but I won’t do that. You just lost one customer. Shame on you.

I do realize that only a minority of people on the site are that rude.. [mellow]

That second message takes the biscuit! (That's a fairly common expression in Ireland, not sure it translates elsewhere)

Anyway, it made me realise that my earlier post on this thread was a bit abrupt and I apologise for that. I appreciate all the work that you put into this site for very little reward and I'm sure the great majority of members feel the same way.

I guess we get used to the site working in a particular way and it takes a while to adjust to the changes. There were also a few bugs caused by the update, but these have been sorted out very quickly.

So thanks Patrick for keeping everything running so smoothly and for being so responsive whenever any issues arise.

Paul

What I dislike most about the dropdown menu is the missing entry of the currently selected puzzle in the menu-list. This 'dynamic' feature is very confusing for the eye and the brain.

Could you please consider to add the selected puzzle at the correct spot in the list (maybe in 'brownish/orange ) ?

Sure, thanks for the suggestion [smile]
