Beaker
As Canadian Thanksgiving and time change to standard approach, I am concerned about beaker. We have not heard fro him since April and he has achieved less than 40% of points this year.

I share your concern. I know he had some health issues a while back that kept him off the site for a while. And it looks like he hasn’t solved any puzzles for the past few months. Has anyone heard from him?

Re: Beaker
Another Member and I are also concerned, our concerns were raised a few months ago.
The other member noticed that Beaker was last on in June.
Beaker is not well.
I got a very short message from him in July and nothing since.
The other concerned member found out he was in a hospital, and has been for several months.
Edit: corrected a typo

I have called the hospital twice and his home twice but have not been able to connect. I am still hoping that he will contact one of us:)

Re: Beaker
Hi All, Beaker contacted me today.
This summer has been rough for him. He is older and has spent several months in and out of the hospital.
He is only using his phone for communication, and obviously hasn't been puzzling.
He is not out of the woods yet, though I believe he has regained some of this strength/stamina.
I will try to keep everyone updated as well as I can.
I am not sure Beaker will return. We all enter different phases in our lives and change our habits. This may be a tome for him to step away.
