Once you have assigned an operator to a cage, is there a way to erase it without clearing the whole puzzle?

This is I think only possible with the keyboard (Shift + arrow left/right changes the operator,
the one in the sequence before the '+' is the "empty" option).

Should this also be a button for iPad and such maybe?

Shift+arrow is what I want. Thanks! I use a laptop, so I have no opinion on the iPad.
