timing of the regular daily puzzles
I've noticed that I am now told how long it took me to complete each puzzle although I don't participate in the timed rankings. This is a nice feature that you seem to have added recently. A couple of times I tried doing a puzzle online and couldn't solve it that way. After I had solved it in my graphics program (my substitute for pencil & paper solution) I entered the numbers into the online grid and got the time it actually took for the offline solution. Another time I got the time it took me to enter the numbers from my offline solution into the grid (not including the 30 minute offline solution time).

Re: timing of the regular daily puzzles
Hi cecileb,
The timer starts as soon as the page is loaded and the orange "cursor" appears.
So if you load the page, print it (for example), solve it, and then enter it, and that same page is still on screen, you'll get the total time: print + solve + enter solution.
If you reload the page before entering your solution, the timer restarts, and you'll see the time it took you to enter the solution.
I hope this clarifies things,
Patrick
