 Chrome the most popular browser
A bit related to my recent comparison of puzzling performance of web browser users:
Chrome has overtaken IE as the world's most popular browser.

lots of news articles about this

Mostly because of the traffic that was generated from Larry Page's Google+ post, Chrome
has been the most-used browser on this site for a while. The percentages over the past
two months are:

1. Chrome: 31%
2. Firefox: 25%
3. IE: 24%
4. Safari: 17%
5. Opera: 1%
6. Android: 1%

What application do you click on to open your internet browser? I use Firefox on my computer and android when I use my phone. The other day I used my wife's iPad and Safari is the default browser for macs.

You're using Firefox 3.6 on Linux (latest version is Firefox 12, maybe time to upgrade?)
and Internet Explorer 8.0 on Windows.

You do realize you are asking a 67 year old computer-illiterate to upgrade a system that I didn't even know existed........my son set this up for my wife and myself years ago and everything that we need seems to be working fine (I think)......but it is slow when I compare my use on this system to other computers I have used recently!!!

Post To paint or not to paint, that's the question
It's a good thing the statistics of Patrick about the browser. I have Firefox and by this I'm at top 3 of the browsers. I'm going to study the possible alteration to Chrome.
But that thread brought about a great problem I have. I used pencil and paper but due to some threads of Clm, Sneaklyfoz, Starling and others, at the right moment I began to use Paint. I don't want anything more. But...
It was good to know what other programs puzzlers use because my Paint doesn't work right. With the constant use (?) the program stops to work and I must reinstall the OS to have Paint working again. I do a new installation one time all the weeks. It's very frustrating!
So, my question, has anyone the same problem? What other programs are in common use by our calcudokus-puzzlers?
I thank you all the help you can give to me.
