I actually would like to know what the star that appears by a person's name means when you are looking at the rankings.

I understand that the stop watch means points earned on a timed puzzle.
A book means that points were earned by submitting a puzzle from one of the books.

It means that that person has solved all the calcudoku puzzles of the current day (I don't think you need to solve the killer sudokus or ordinary sudokus to get a star). The stars disappear from the rankings at midnight and a new star is born every time someone meets the requirement :-)

Thank you. I do not think I would have ever figured that one out.

I do not do the Easy Sudoko as I do not receive points from it.
Of the Killer Sudoko, I can do Easy, and sometimes, medium.

Thank you both for asking and answering that question, it has bugged me for a while.
I thought it was something like that but I could not work out it only applied to some puzzles :)
