Here's a really silly moment:
I was doing today's 4x4 easy and I started pressing all the keys, but nothing was showing up on the screen. The number pad worked... but not the keys. So I was thinking of reporting it in Bugs and Errors, and then I realized:
I WASN'T PRESSING THE NUMBER KEYS!!!!! [lol]

I was blazing through my timed 8x8 today. I was going to finish in under three minutes - easily a top 100 time for me. And I would have too, if only 4, 7 and 8 was a legitimate factorization of 112.

One time (I can't remember when) on a certain puzzle (I can't remember that either [razz] ) I got stuck on a certain factorization of a certain thing (GAH) and I COULD NOT SOLVE IT and I was CONVINCED that the puzzle had no solution. I almost emailed Patrick about it...

Oh! It was puzzle A2V2 a while ago, and I thought the 1890X cage was only 189 [biggrin] Yeah... Zero doesn't exist :-)

I had a really stupid blind spot in a book puzzle (a2z12), where I got totally stuck because I had 236 as the solution to 3:. When I changed it to 126, I solved the problem fairly quickly, then went to submit it online just before midnight CET. Unfortunately, by the time I loaded the page, it was changing over to June 11th and I ended up submitting it around 30 seconds too late. [cursing]

So, no book puzzles submitted yesterday and only 1 more possible today. [angry]

HRMMM
I was rocking all the timed puzzles for today (two sub-10 second 4x4s - one of them my 6th best - and two sub-30 5x5s) and then I failed the first puzzle. Then, when almost done with the second, I pressed the reload key or something and it was gone. It was so infuriating, especially after such a good start. [cursing]

Another classic blind spot for me today. I kept getting stuck on the difficult 9x9 and went over it again and again. I had worked out that the numbers in a particular multiplication cage must add up to a particular total and had one combination in mind that turned out not to be the only possible solution. When I figured this out, I finally managed to solve the puzzle, but I figure I spent well over an hour in total working on it.

Which brings me to a question for Patrick. My total time for the puzzle was shown as just over 39 minutes. I'm pretty certain that I spent a lot more time than this working on it, but some of the time I quit out of the puzzle without saving it in order to go back to an earlier saved version. It occurs to me that the time spend on these attempts may not have been included in the total time shown. Is that correct and, if so, is there any way of changing that s so that actual total time spent is shown?

Yes, I'd need to save the time taken so far separately, not only when you save a puzzle.

I'll look into this..
