 "gcompris" (educational software) now has Calcudoku
This software has been around a _long_ time, and a new version has just been released:

It has Calcudoku (!)

Possibly Linux only, and maybe only in French for now (?), I still have to check it out.

The interface takes some getting used to.

There is this notion of an "active digit": click a digit, it starts wobbling,
and then this digit is entered into any cell you click [mellow]

(so there is no "active cell" like on this site for example)
