A small update to the subscription functionality: it is now (finally) fully automatic,
i.e. if you get a subscription (or extend your current one), it'll be activated/extended
right away.

Another small update: if you have the 6 or 12 month subscription,
download links to the book you chose / both books should be
available on your account page:

Sorry that I must seem to be clueless, but I just subscribed and immediately pressed the button to download the tricky puzzles book. The whole book quickly appeared on my screen. Then I exited it, expecting to find the download somewhere in my computer, but it isn't there. How can I get it back?

To get a download list use Ctrl+J (in Safari Ctrl+Alt+J)

You can also find the download on your account page:

(let me know if it isn't there, I just read the report by 'arjen' that the
links are not on his account page)

You can right-click on such a link, select "Save As", and save it where you want to put it.

Also, here are some instructions on where Chrome saves downloads, and how to change that:

Argh, thanks, I found a tricky bug affecting subscribers who log in via Facebook...

The links should be visible now on your account page, let me know if they aren't.
