Re: volunteers wanted to test "social widget"
Patrick, I will confess that I don't quite 'get it'. There are a few barriers to my using the widget.
First of all, aesthetically it still looks like an ad and I have been conditioned to _not_ click on things that look like ads unless I'm pretty sure I know what it is.
Second, I understand that this is a beta test, but I don't quite know who the audience/participants are. Is this connecting users across various puzzle sites? Or is it like a calcudoku.org forum accessible from the puzzle pages themselves instead of the boards?
And then lastly, there was a section at the top of the widget that linked to a 6x6 and a 9x9 puzzle. That's something I'd be glad to click on. Heck I do a dozen calcudoku puzzles a day some days.
But the link is to 4/25/2012 puzzles and those are no longer accessible. If it can be dynamically generated then a date within the last week would be best, obviously. But also linking to a non-twin puzzle would make sense since you want the flashgroup widget to show up on the destination page, too.
Sorry to be mostly negative, but I hope that all helps.
