Nope. In history there are 3 points on 24/6. I suppose the yesterday ones would have 25/6 as date or I am mistaken? And the other day this week(don't remember which one) that this has happened again, from what I can remember they weren't added at all.

No, I can only give out the bonus points for 25/6 (today) when all times are known.

So early this morning the bonus points for 24/6 were given out, for example.

So the points for the timed puzzles solved yesterday should have a datestamp 24/6? I find it odd because I'm sure I've solved 6 puzzles not 3, whereas 3 were the ones from 23/6. Maybe it has something to do with the date because I am UTC + 2..
But don't bother, thanks again for your time to respond.

No, it's because you get bonus points based on your ranking in yesterday's timed puzzle (i.e. your best time).

Check out this list, for example:
http://www.calcudoku.org/ops/timed_rankings/en/world/6
click on "yesterday's times",
and look up where you are (52nd I see)

Madlo,

From what you say I assume you think you get points per each finished timed puzzle, but you only get points for 1 puzzle per category (4x4, 5x5, 6x6) namely the fastest puzzle you did.

On the timed puzzle ranking page it says:

'Each day, you will get points for each timed puzzle you solve:
5 points for the fastest time, then 4, 3, 3, 3, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2 for 2nd-10th place, and 1 point for everyone else'

Is a bit misleading, you get points only for your best times per day. Thus when you finish a 4x4, 5x5 and a 6x6 out of the top 10 you get 3x1 = 3 points. If you do 3 4x4 puzzles, you only get points for the 1 4x4 that took you the least time, the others are only put in to your statistics, the top 100/65% average etc

Hope that is an answer to your question

honkhonk,
that's exactly what I thought. Thanks for the clarification.

I blame my ignorance now to have posted before understanding completely the rules. [blush]

No, not at all, it was a valid question, thanks.

I updated the text on the ranking page to be a bit more accurate..
