Why did the golden stars disappeared from the ranking table?

Post Re: Golden stars
Seems they didn't disappear altogether since some users have them (as of today, Jul 02), including sneaklyfox, mparisi, fuzzystat, aap, peter66 and A [sic, a one-letter username]. (Specifications pop up at mouse-over for the four first users I mentioned but not for peter66 and A. However, some of the un-starred users are missing their mouse-over specifications as well, so that's probably not connected to the star issue.)

However, jomapil is right that the stars aren't being awarded to everybody who solved all of the day's puzzles. For instance, I just solved all of today's puzzles, including all regular puzzles and the extra puzzle (all of which are now marked in green), the three "killer sudoku" test puzzles and a bonus puzzle (plus I submitted a book puzzle). But I didn't get a star! [crying] <sobbing uncontrollably>

Could it be that the "killer sudoku" test puzzles (which I solved before starting on the other puzzles) somehow get in the way?

Could be. I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I had a golden star and then I did the killer sudokus and my star disappeared...

Oops, will fix.

After doing the killer sudokus, you've done "too many" puzzles [huh]
