Re: testing killer sudokus
Cool! Thanks!
I tried the first one (Easy). It was definitely easy, in that there was always some way for me to proceed without having to stop and do any kind of higher level analysis. In fact, I filled in a pretty good percentage using basic calcudoku before remembering that I could use the 3x3 no-repeats sudoku rule.
Weirdness: The puzzle page labelled it as one star, but my history labels it as 5 and tells me I got 12 points for it.

Re: testing killer sudokus
Very amused. In my opinion medium and difficult are too much overrated (116.6 and 156.1, respectively) as compared with the standard 9x9's (let's think that apart of the "addition" as the only operator there is a big help with the "sudoku rule" of the 3x3 boxes). The "cell size" selector does not work (only large).

Re: testing killer sudokus
The error checking should include where the same number appears in the same 3x3. I just tried the easy one. Seems fun. I hope it will be a feature for the subscribers (extra puzzle).

Re: testing killer sudokus
The easy and the medium are too easy. The difficult is overrated according to Clm. But there is an error. I didn't add any points so Patrick owes me 16 points

Re: testing killer sudokus
I've posted about the Killer Sudoku on a couple of Sudoku forums. So far very little response, a couple of "views", one forum deleted my message (?!), and one scored a reply..: http://forum.enjoysudoku.com/post218977.htmlAs you see, I'm working to understand the Killer Sudoku community and vice versa
