Post Problem with puzzles in Google Chrome
Within the last week, when playing larger puzzles, when I click on a square to begin a puzzle, I get (non-functional) scroll bars across the face of the puzzle. (They appear on smaller puzzles also, but remain outside the playing area). I use Google Chrome as my browser, but I have played the game for quite some time on Chrome without any problems. Any assistance would be appreciated.
(The puzzles still retain full functionality, but the bars partially obscure some of the numbers, and sometimes the dividing lines between cages)

I see that on Wednesday, Chrome was updated to version 21.0.1180.75 (really..).
This typically happens automatically.

I'm running version 19.0.1084.46, and am not seeing this issue.

I'll upgrade and test again.

It looks like an issue that happens only on Windows, only with Chrome, and when there's a "Flash" animation
on the page (as is the case with some of the ads):

http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issue ... ?id=140239

This bug even appears on google.com (!)
(you'd think Google would test their own site when changing their own browser..)

A possible "fix" is to go to:
chrome://plugins
and disable the "pepper flash" plugin (if it's there).

Update: I posted a question about this on Google's Chrome forum:

Haha, fun with technology! Thank you for the quick response. I do not see pepper flash listed as a plug in. I will give it some time to see if Google manages a fix, and if this persists after a week or so, I will let you know. Thanks again.

To disable the malfunctioning plug-in, do this:

go to "chrome://plugins"
click "Details" on the top right
find the Flash plugin - there should be multiple entries underneath it
Find the one that is Type: PPAPI (out-of-process) and disable that one.
Keep the NPAPI ones as is.

Let me know if that helps!

Disabled the plug-in, and went back to solving--have run through a couple, and so far, so good! Thanks for the help! [thumbup]
