According to the rankings page, it was mas from Japan who solved number 5 million. I managed to get a screenshot, but I don't know how to post it here.
Fine to e-mail me the screenshot.
"behind the scenes" there is some more accurate logging going on (the ticker, for example,
can easily be off by 1 because of network issues etc.).
The sequence was as follows:
4 999 996: Marijke (Netherlands, via facebook), 4x4 difficult, at 6.38.53 CET
4 999 997: angelwhite (Italy), 6x6 easy, at 6.38.55 CET
4 999 998: arjen (Netherlands), 5x5 easy, at 6.39.05 CET
4 999 999: mas (Japan), 5x5 difficult, at 6.39.28 CET
5 000 000: ? (someone not logged in! from Houston, Texas, US, on an iPad), 4x4 medium, at 6.39.35 CET
5 000 001: ? (somenot not logged in! from Tel Aviv, Israel), 5x5 difficult
5 000 002: arjen again
5 000 003: Marijke again
and maybe whoever solved number 5 million was a first time visitor as well (?!)
(arrived at the site through a Yahoo search, can't really tell what the query string was though)
Of course there was no prize on solving it, but still, would've been nice to know who it was
