Post Calcudoku 7×7 with undetermined numbers
Hihello,
this 7×7 calcudoku contains some of numbers 0–9 (integers). And a hint: F… [rolleyes]

What are the possible combinations for 3|?

Yes, at first sight I'm thinking for that large 3| cage, "the horizontal bar must have 1, 2, 3,
but that's not possible!" [huh]

So that's a clue, really :-)

Not necessarily because you could have 0,1,3 for that horizontal, for instance, since there is a 0 in the puzzle because of cage "0x".
The real inconsistency that I see is that the 0 of row 7 must necessarily go to a7-b7, that is, "5+" = [0,5] and then the 5 of column c must go to c1-c2, that is, "5-" = [0,5] and, as a consequence, "3+" = [1,2] so c3 = 3 (unique, with b2-b3 = [1,2], being [1,1,6] invalid) and I can not imagine which number to place in c4 different than 0,1,2,3 that does not violate the "bitwise or" of cage "3|" (the other numbers in the supossed range 4,6,7,8,9 are not valid).

So I will wait the "clue" either.

I’m not sure if Patrick found out the solution. According to the smiley, maybe yes. [biggrin]

So another hint/clue: My first hint doesn’t mark a column… [smile]

You're thinking too deeply [rolleyes]
It just tells me there must be a zero in the puzzle (so yes, I hadn't even looked at the "0x" cage [mellow] )

This is a very good calcudoku.
I found a problem in it that I can't solve.
It could be a typing error.

The large "3|" cage can contain 0,1,2 or 3.
Because f4=2 cells [b2-d2] contain 0,1 and 3. In this case g3=0.
In cage "1^" one of cells must be 0 or 1. Because g3=0 one cell must be 1.

Cage "6x" can be [1,2,3] or [1,1,6]. But because "1^" contain 1 [1,1,6] is not valid.
After this we have on row 3:
- in columns b and c [2,3]
- in columns e or f [1]
- in column g [0]

So we used all the numbers possible for large cage "3|".
In this case we don't have any number left for cell d3.

Yes I like this kind of puzzle. I know how hard it is to make one.
But I did not find a solution.
With the ‘‘3|’’ of the large cage replaced by ‘‘15|’’ there might be 1 solution. But I don't stick my hands in the fire because I do make many mistakes.

I’m bringing the third clue for the upper puzzle – more practical and probably deciding:

(Note: 0+ integers.)
How many solutions has the puzzle? [wink]

Maybe I’ll be killed for this innovation… :-)
