you can now submit two book puzzle solutions every day
Given that there are quite a few books with puzzles for points now, I've changed it (starting right now ) such that you can submit two book puzzles for points every day.

That's great! Submitting two puzzles today went without a hitch, and my attempt at submitting a third one (for, uhm, research purposes) triggered this message: " You already submitted two book puzzle solutions today"

Good to hear things worked as expected.
I do need to fix the translation here and there (getting the correct Hebrew, Japanese, Chinese, etc. is tricky..)

Just wondering, but how many books have puzzles you can submit for points, and which books are those? I only found two that said it explicitly, but I presume there must be more, right?

Re: you can now submit two book puzzle solutions every day
Before there was the Book History Page, there was this thread. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=682On the 3rd page, where the books are listed there are also two eternal puzzles listed and linked. They were holiday puzzles. The last comment on the thread has all the user created eternal puzzles listed and linked. You will have to wait to be a subscriber for multiple years to get access to certain books. Points are everything

You need to become a subscriber.
You have access to more puzzles per day, and as a multi year subscriber you gain access to various books that are now out of print.
I was on for about two weeks before I became a subscriber. I wanted access to puzzles and also felt that Patrick could probably use the financial support to keep this place up and running.
Doing the various books gives you practice on certain puzzles. The two books of large puzzles give you practice on the 12 x 12 and larger. The two books on tricky puzzles gives you practice on 5 x 5 and 6 x 6. The 6 x 6 are patterns that we see regularly.
I do not know how long it took me to get to 1000 pts. I did feel elated when I achieved that. I know that it took me a while to master the Killer Sudoku, and various operations like bit wise OR , or MOD.

Well yes, certainly, but I'm only 13, so my parents don't exactly give me free reign over financial matters I would, of course, but oh well...
