Probably one of my oldest goals is to get all 140 weekly timed points.
I believe I've had 139 points in a week before, but this time I had 6 consecutive perfect days, meaning I could've gotten to 140 if today would be one of those perfect days. Sadly my 4x4's weren't as good as I hoped they were though, so my streak will end again.
Does anyone actually know if someone else (read: Sheldolina) ever got 140 weekly timed points?

((5 * 4) * 7) - 1

Incredible.

Congrats to jpoos

I am always amazed by you and the other people who are consistently at the top of the timed charts.

I'm also amazed (and very impressed) by the times being posted. A couple of weeks ago, I did a 4x4 in just over 19 seconds and I was thrilled with myself.

Maybe if I was 40 years younger I might have some chance of getting closer to you guys, but I can't see myself ever getting near the top of the leaderboard, or even anywhere in the top 10.

Actually got my first top ten this week - sneaking in at 10th place in the 8x8. But I'm still struggling to get my technique right. Maybe I can't think quite as fast as some of the people on here, but the speed at which I fill in the cells is also a factor.

I generally use an iPad, which requires a lot of keystrokes compared to using a PC or laptop. But I find that I really struggle to be any faster when using a keyboard. Maybe it's just practice that's needed, but any tips would be welcomed.

I should mention that I'm very dominant right handed and this may be part of the problem.

Wow, so fast! I'm already quite happy with these, which does not happen so often:

These are lucky days when I have got an easy timed puzzle. But when I get a difficult timed puzzle, I sometimes still need much more time to complete the puzzle, say 3 minutes for 6x6. I wonder how you can do them all so fast consistently.

I agree - It is quite impressive! More and more lately I have been completely failing at the 6x6s (2+ minutes [sad] )
