I came across something that (as far as I interpreted it) if you have 3 cells and one contains X or Y, the second is X or Z, and the third is X, Y, and Z, then you can eliminate X from the third. Is this correct?

First could be y and second could be z, so third could still be x.

Yeah... I was using this in a puzzle and it didn't work, so I went back and checked without doing that. I thought it was correct at the beginning, but apparently not. Thanks jaek!
