See below, he's closing in on 4 (FOUR) years... [scared]

1. sjs34 1417
2. beaker 1321
3. clm 1301
5. menm 1047
5. isidore 1032
6. bertoldo 1017
7. panther 994
8. angelwhite 908
9. doug 828
10. mparisi 798

I am sorry, but I do not understand this ranking, could you verify it or explain it a little more, please?. In fact, according to my "history" (in the page) and to my own records I have 2148 consecutive days (not 1301) solving puzzles and I know this is correct, since I am waiting for April 12, 2017, my actual target, since at that moment I will have 6 years of consecutive gold stars (and not only the gold stars because I know I have sent all puzzles everyday including Sudokus, KSs and extra puzzles in the same day, I only lost a few days of "timed puzzles") (I commenced this burst on Apr 12, 2011, after a trip without Internet accesss). [scared]

Consequently, sjs34, beaker, etc, should have more days either, since they were before me in the last ranking of consecutive days solving puzzles.

I think you're right.

The 1301 suggests a gap some time in 2013, and I just did a query for "number of unique days in 2013 clm solved puzzles" and it came out 365... [huh]

I'll run a check on the totals.

edit: a recompute came up with a total of 2146 consecutive days (up to and including yesterday, Friday the 24th), is this correct?

Patrick and clm,

Thank you. I like to see an update of this list every now and then since it is the only one that I lead. I agree, though, that there has probably been a glitch. I don't think I have ever missed a day so I believe my number is 2262.

I missed a day somewhere near the beginning of my journey on this site due to a Best Western motel in Bandon,Oregon (USA) as the computer system had crashed and was down the entire time we were there.......I did submit a couple of 4x4's multiple times to see if the computer system had been fixed.......a very frustrating day [angry]

Just found an old post which indicated I had over 500 days on Sept 6, 2012......... Which means I should have more than 2100 consecutive days

Well, yesterday my history was showing 2148 consecutive days solving puzzles while today is showing 2147 ??? (including yesterday Saturday 25th, but I was really waiting 2149 based on yesterday's number), however it seems that when yesterday you made the total recheck, finding 2146, at the same time, that total was modified to a more exact amount ... To be more precise, excluding today (so it depends on the software, it's clear that it does not actualize the total in real time, that is, as soon as you solve a single puzzle, then actualizing the total at the end of the day), I have 2147 (and 2147 consecutive gold stars BTW [smile]):

2011: 264 days (including Apr 12, 2011, when I started the actual burst, to the end of the year)
2012: 366
2013: 365
2014: 365
2015: 365
2016: 366
2017: 56 (including yesterday Saturday 25th and obviously excluding today)

Total: 2147.
So now the numbers agree, the only thing that is very strange is the ranking provided :-) :-) .

Is this a list of the longest current streaks, or the longest streaks ever which might have ended?

good question..

edit: correction, the top list is not of the longest streaks ever, it's the one of the longest current streaks
(apologies for mixing these up)

This is the list of the longest ever streaks:

1. sjs34 2263

2. beaker 2167

3. clm 2147

4. isidore 1878

5. bertoldo 1863

6. angelwhite 1753

7. panther 1710

8. mparisi 1621

9. ric3142 1456

10. default 1434

I do need to check what is going on with these numbers. Because I ran the list
in the previous post just now, the total for clm (for example) should be 2149.

The log file of the script that updates these counts (which runs at 6.30am CET every day)
does show a new total of 2149 (!?).

edit: found the problem, I'm an idiot: I forgot I had moved certain account stats
to a separate table a while ago (which explains the outdated numbers in the original post..)
