You're just getting smarter.

Well, it seems like all of us subscribers already won the lottery today :-)
Even the non-subsribers are pretty lucky as well, what with today's difficult 6x6 and medium 8x8 being accessible to everyone [woot]
Hopefully some of them will get hooked and buy a subscription [wink]

Not wishing to be a downer, but doing calcudoku also slows down the rate at which your brain declines as you get older.

At least, I think it does!

You're going to feel positively rejuvenated after solving today's difficult 9x9 [biggrin]
I subjectively felt like being on the verge of circular reasoning at many points, yet there always appeared a nice, logical path forwards, especially in the 6x and 168x cages at a late stage.
A most enjoyable puzzle [thumbsup]

Did you click the "+" "like" button afterwards?

(I could check, and I'm not doing anything with this info at the moment, just curious)

I did, but then I probably do that after far too many puzzles for it to be actually useful in case you want to do something with it at some point [blush]
Also, it's probably too dependent on my form/mood on any given day whether a deserving puzzle gets a "like" or not [sad]
This is part of the reason why I sometimes express my approval of a particularly enjoyable puzzle through a post [smile]

Re: Do you have favorite puzzles or patterns you look forwar
Tuesday (or Monday for me) 8x8 hard is probably my favorite. I am quite sad, I never get `|` operator as a bonus puzzle :(
All kinds of doubles.
All 10x10. Sometimes I get a Friday one, but turned 90 degrees bonus -- much more enjoyable than constant 5x5 doubles with 0, which are mechanically solvable.

On the contrary Tuesday 9x9 are one of the least enjoyable for me and I force myself to solve one once a year to get the achievement (when I am really bored, I might solve it more than once).
And 6x6 hard where there is a central crosshatch pattern -- I probably miss some technique, but my solution rate for those is probably 50-60%, while all the other 6x6 patterns 100% of started.

I also really like the subtraction only 7x7.

But most days I'm just looking for a few minutes relaxation, not a brain workout, and just do the killer sudokus and without using hints the medium sudoku.

I thought somewhere on the site or forum the repeating schedule was posted, but I'm not finding it now?

(Hmm, forum lists me as a subscriber, but I let it lapse trying to minimize expenses for a while.)
