since then there have been over 330,000 likes from almost 1200 users
First I removed these from the set:
- likes from 2022 (especially in August people were very enthusiastic, right after the feature was added)
- likes from accounts with fewer than 100 puzzles solved
- likes for puzzles with fewer than 10 likes
- likes for puzzles that were solved fewer than 75 times
For the remaining likes, I _weighed_ them for each user, according to the percentage of puzzles liked (!)
There are for example people who like more than half of all puzzles solved: those likes get a lower weight.
Some conclusions:
- easily the most liked puzzle type is the Wednesday 8x8 medium twin (even the most popular "extra" puzzles are 8x8 twins
- after that, it's the Monday 6x6 twin, the Thursday 5x5 twin, and the Friday 10x10 ("brick pattern")
I also created a few specific "most liked" lists, for example for the 4x4 difficult, the 12x12, etc.
I'm thinking to maybe do a book with the 100 most liked puzzles
