I'll probably set up some kind of "warning, spoiler" mechanism, so you can't accidentally see the numbers when browsing the forum, for example.
edit: I removed the answers posted by this user.
I repeatedly wrote I would post the numbers used on the 25th.
It should be clear that you spoil it for other people if you start posting solutions.

Ok, Christmas day, and 14 people have solved the Christmas puzzle so far
I added a "spoiler" extension that allows you to hide text from accidental viewing: just enclose the relevant bit like so:
And using it right away to give you the numbers used for the xmas25 puzzle (click on it to see them):
With this info the puzzle should be more lightweight ![Smile [smile]](./images/smilies/msp_smile.gif)

Thanks Patrick.
I had managed to work out 8 of the 10 numbers, but was struggling with the last 2. So I succumbed to the temptation of looking at your hint.
I managed to solve the problem, but didn't find it particularly easy. I think this is because I had to keep going back to the list when trying to finish off a row or column.
Anyway, I was glad to get it done and be able to can get back to the Xmas madness.

The question is, how many people received the newsletter? I assume this was some test project for a limited group of users, because I learned about it accidentally; even my Special History https://www.calcudoku.org/ops/special_history/en simply mentions that there is such a puzzle coded xmas25, without any links.
// I'm not surprised that I did not get any e-mail (for me, the last letter from Calcudoku.org was #7 on Feb 10 2024, even though my account is set to “E-mail newsletter”; it probably has something to do with spam filters); I'm wondering why the PDF is not available on the website
If life is a game, where are the cheat codes?
No, it should have been sent to everyone.ambidexter wrote: ↑Fri Jan 02, 2026 3:44 pm The question is, how many people received the newsletter? I assume this was some test project for a limited group of users, because I learned about it accidentally;
I have experienced problems with email servers based in Russia though, I'm assuming this is part of the "fencing off" of the country to the rest of the internet.
I was having issues but the n with the numbers It was easy. I had many of the numbers, but you are unsure of yourself.pnm wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 9:22 pm I'm thinking I may have made the puzzle a bit too difficult.
If all 10 numbers are given beforehand, it is nice and easy.
But with only 5 given (the ones in the puzzle and 19, 31) it is actually quite tricky.
Only 8 people have solved it so far (!)![]()
Should I maybe send out some of the remaining 5 numbers ?
When I entered the solution today, there were I was the 50th person to have solved it.
