With the update to the new look we appear to have lost the option to have the different boxes in Killer Sudoku coloured differently. I found the colouring quite helpful. Would it be possible to bring it back?
Yes, the toggle button to the right is gone, mayaknife wrote:With the update to the new look we appear to have lost the option to have the different boxes in Killer Sudoku coloured differently. I found the colouring quite helpful. Would it be possible to bring it back?

? no?mayaknife wrote:So it's now a subscriber-only feature?
what makes you think that?

Because when I go into my settings it says that the number pad display is a subscriber-only feature.
There used to be a "floating" number pad, the new number pad is the one on the left/bottom/right side.mayaknife wrote:Because when I go into my settings it says that the number pad display is a subscriber-only feature.
The subscriber feature is the ability to select the old style number pad.
The current number pad should show up when you click in a cell of the puzzle (or touch a cell if you're using a phone/tablet).
Ah yes, that worked. I never click on the puzzles because I always use the keyboard. Completely forgot that a number pad pops up when you click.
Thanks for the help.

No problem. I'll probably also remove the "number pad selection" from the account settings page, to avoid confusion.mayaknife wrote:Ah yes, that worked. I never click on the puzzles because I always use the keyboard. Completely forgot that a number pad pops up when you click.

This all made me realize that the "coloured cells" button should of course move to the bottom button panel,
so that is where it is now
I also removed the old vs. new number pad choice for people who aren't using the old one.
(in fact, only 23 people still use the old number pad).
