Futoshiki samples
In the past few days, I cobbled together a Futoshiki solver / generator / visualizer.

Here are a few samples, all are rated "easy":

Yes, I do realize these are easy.

I'll add a few harder ones later.

Not for a new website, but for a puzzle book with a mix of puzzles.

This one should be a bit harder:

How would you rate it?

(I just now noticed the useless 5 < 6 clue by the way.. [blush] )

Re: Futoshiki samples
I actually thought it fell apart pretty quickly. Still enjoyable, but the 2's go in pretty much from the start with some fairly simple logic and that gives you a strong beginning.

Re: Futoshiki samples
Yep, that one runs pretty difficult. Got to a point about midway through where I was just struggling to pick off single digits out of a given cell which is about where the difficult puzzles for other types usually run.

Re: Futoshiki samples
In case you're up for another one, this one should be in between the previous puzzle
and the one before that:

Re: Futoshiki samples
Would agree that it's between the two in difficulty, though it probably tends towards the side of the first one.
