The 2nd is a bit weird in that it shows a (medium) 4x4, a countdown, and then the full solution without any explanation

I think that "show the puzzle, show a countdown, show the solution" format for a short comes from Math Youtube, which also overlaps a lot with Puzzle Youtube. Definitely would be weird if you were expecting an explainer of the solve though.

expected it especially because the 3x3 video does have an explainer
(and an error in their 11+ math...
