Just to know, maybe I was too fast but I have the impression there are several possible solutions for the puzzle.

I _think_ the code I added for the extra large cages works correctly, i.e. the solution is unique.

But if you find a 2nd solution (or more [scared] ), do let me know..

Ok, puzzler nicow has provided me with 6 (!) solutions for the puzzle [blush]

I'll modify it so it does have a unique solution

(the 1134x cage will be split into a 42x cage (top 2 cells) and a 27x cage (bottom 2 cells)

and will check what went wrong with the solver code [cursing]

edit: the PDF has been updated.

Does that mean you were able to submit 6 different solutions? Or were you kicked out on the grounds that you had already submitted a solution?

No, because I thought the puzzle had a single solution, only one of the 6 was accepted as correct.

(and that one is now an actually unique solution)

Apparently I made a very lucky guess, then [lol]

Nice puzzle, by the way [thumbup]
(I'll admit to simply making a guess about the distribution of the numbers in the cells encircled by the zero-shaped cage in order to finish solving rows 3 through 6.)
