Hey all,
If I am reading it correctly Beaker had their surgery two yrs ago. The original post was from 2018.

I did not find the (-3, ..., 3) puzzle difficult, yesterday.

I was a bit confused as well. But two years ago was flu and dehydration; this time around was "minor surgery". I put that in quotes since minor surgery is still surgery. Get well, and continue to be well, Beaker.

Thank you all for "get better wishes"........stitches will be removed next Thursday........certain movements do cause some discomfort........am allergic to all pain suppression remedies, so just not going to move about too much.......finding these killers of today difficult and not confident in getting any solution(s)

Well, it happened again on this -3+3 puzzle......another 67.6 minutes.....was this as hard as it seemed or am I just getting to old for these intricacies.....not so hard when 1 correction resulted in a solved puzzle.....see below:)

It was the -4 cage (6e, 7e, 7f).......got it in my head that I had the right combination and when nothing worked I was convinced I had messed up somewhere else and tried all sorts of combinations until I finally realized the -4 cage solution I had was wrong......changed and within about 5 minutes everything else fell into place.....funny how one solution gets stuck in the brain and you are so sure it is the right solution only to find out IT WAS NOT!!!

I thought the puzzle was rather straightforward.

I took one wrong turn and had to start from a save.
It took me just less that 9 minutes to complete.

ETA: remember I was brain dead last Friday. it happens.

I didn’t find it particularly difficult. It took me just under 7:40 to solve.

How about the -3 to +3 of today.......worked on it for 45 minutes convinced that certain solutions were correct and then gave up......went upstairs to prepare supper, and then it hit me that one solution which I was hung up on might have a different combination......came back down stairs, plugged in the new numbers and voila was finished in 10 minutes.....ergo: hard if you are using wrong cage numbers.....easy if you are using the right cage numbers.....obviously it is all about your perspective.......last time I looked only 16 solves.....was it really that hard or that easy [confused]

It was tricky enough. Subtraction cages are always complicated when there are negative numbers involved.

I managed to figure out one of the minus seven cages early on and it kind of fell into place after that. Took me 7 minutes 36 seconds.

I normally only do the timed puzzles, but gave this one a shot: 6 minutes 38 seconds [love]

This could be a good puzzle to add to the timed puzzles [woot]

(cue beaker replying NOOOOO! [lol] )
