I found the above puzzle particularly difficult. Only 27 people have solved it so far and i will be interested to see how many in total manage to complete it.

A total of 49 people solved it.

That sounds a bit low.

Several have seemed more difficult to me lately. I agree about this one. Today's (Feb15) 8x8 difficult and 9x9 also both seemed more difficult than usual.

I struggled with Sat Feb 15 9 x 9, too.

I was lucky that I got it done in time.

I may need to tweak the generator a bit.

fzpowerman47's recent 12x12 user puzzle initially made my solver run for too long,
so I had to come up with an improvement.

It's definitely possible that this solving step caused some (especially larger) puzzles to be "underrated".

Very curious that fzpowerman47's 12x12 user puzzle made your solver run too long as it seemed relatively benign to this human.
