Difficult 8x8 3 September 2020
I really struggled with today’s difficult 8x8. Only solved 48 times so far, so it looks like I wasn’t the only one to find it difficult!

Solved only 51 times.
I had to go and look at it. I had it reduced to two possibilities for the 11+ cage. that was where I used T & E.

Don't most subscriber only puzzles get around 100 solves?

Re: Difficult 8x8 3 September 2020
I found today’s difficult 8x8 even more challenging than the one referred to above. I’m only the 27th person to solve it and I’d say I’ve spent well over an hour in total on it. Another subscriber only puzzle, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up with even fewer solvers than the 3rd September puzzle.

Re: Difficult 8x8 3 September 2020
I was able to solve this week's "mod" 8x8 but could not complete last week's puzzle which I found very difficult (after 90 minutes, I finally gave up)......so, what do you think on these 2 as a comparison on difficulty level?

Re: Difficult 8x8 3 September 2020
We do so many puzzles, i do not store them in my short term memory.
I went and checked last week’s 8 x 8. I cant recall the puzzle, but I feel it was not as hard. The last save I have has between 1/3 to 1/4 of the puzzle solved.
I could not get that far this week before I have to start with T & E.

For me there were just too many cages with "mod" in them
