Like you, I cringed when I saw today’s puzzle. I always find this pattern particularly tricky and it typically takes me up to an hour or longer to solve it. Today’s puzzle wasn’t quite as bad as usual, but it still took me just over 31 minutes.

yes it could have been more difficult, me too, about 30 min to solve it [drool]

As others know, this is the most difficult of 9 x 9 patterns seen on Tues difficult 9 x 9.

The reason I started counting them was because in 2019, I believe this pattern appeared 5 times.
It appeared on the worse possible day for me in July 2019. [cursing]

In 2020, the pattern appeared 4 times.

Fuzzy, and Paul, it took me far longer than 30 mins to do, probably closer to 90 mins which is long for the Tues 9 x 9.
But at least I got it.
