Congrats for solving a bonus puzzle, beaker - some of them can be pretty tough!

Just had a look at my bonus puzzle and another one (10x10) that I looked over and decided to prep to water my lawn (35C right now and feels like 38C) tonight......MUCH better use of my time.....another [cursing] difficult bonus puzzle......think from now on, will just do as many puzzles as I can and skip the rest including bonus puzzles.....all that work to get a bonus puzzle and SOME reward [crying]

Looking at the bonus puzzle right away is a hard habit to quit, at least for me.

I understand and emphasize with your frustration over a particularly tough bonus. I have completed around 850 bonus puzzles (I know Beaker has done more.). There are 2 that still stick in my head as very challenging.

I have the habit of attempting to do the Bonus right after I have earned it, but the habit prevents process on the dailies
I dont have a solution for that situation.
I earn a new bonus every 3 or 4 days. (It depends on if I am actively doing timed puzzles and if I get lucky with the timed puzzles.)
Making making notes, and placing them next to your laptop or tablet to remind you that you havent completed the bonus would help?

Maybe I should increase the points needed for a next bonus puzzle?

So it's closer to once a week for regular puzzlers, for example.

Why would you do that? There’s no rule that obliges members to attempt the bonus puzzles, just as there’s nothing that forces them to do all the daily puzzles.

NOOOOO
Please NO. [scared]

How many of us do almost every puzzle, every day? I would claim it is less than 25 subscribers.
There will be more people affected in a negative manner to limit those of os who are so obsessed.

(My reason for that number: Use the WORLD rankings for YEAR TO DATE. By the time you get down the 25th in that ranking, that person is more than 1000 pts from the people at the no. 1 position)

Well. I said I would not look.....too curious....but this last one (a 10x10) which I am not capable of doing now makes it 1 out of last 6 that I have been able to do [crying] ......have been doing these puzzles for years and some days I think I should just quit (like today)......but I would probably suffer from withdrawl symptoms [lol]
