My bonus today was a sideways Friday 10 !

My last one was a 10x10 (with which I have trouble in the non-bonus puzzles)......tried it 3 different ways and finally gave up as it was cutting into my NCAA TV time:)

Just had to dump another bonus puzzle after 1/2 hour.....too many unsolved ones lately.....sometimes I just feel like skipping the bonus puzzle and not even bothering to look at it as too much frrussstraattiiooon lately [sad] and [crying].....probably could have spent more time on it but today is Monday and there is plenty to do (and a lot of time doing all the puzzles)

I have solved 843 bonus puzzles and have had 3 of that particular style.

I remember doing a particular, unusual 9 x 9 pattern bonus. I have seen that pattern twice.
I have felt that pattern was the hardest.

One usually has 3 or 4 days to do the bonus puzzle. I like getting it done right away as I think I have missed a bonus puzzle or two by trying to finish all the dailies and then forgetting that I had a bonus to do.

I also do my bonus puzzles as soon as they become available. But I also check when I get within a few points of my next bonus puzzle, just to make sure. There was one occasion recently where there was a fairly tricky one and I decided to come back to it later. It was only when I did my last minute check that I realised I hadn’t completed it. I think I ended up solving two bonus puzzles in succession on that day.

[woot] I solved a bonus puzzle......a bit difficult but doable
