On the 4/18 9x9 difficult I got stuck and didn't take the time to try to get unstuck.

I was surprised by difficulty the the puzzle. This pattern usually isn't as hard. I had to work through a large number of possibilities (Trial and Error). It only clicked on the last possible one.

You seem to be keeping your word! Another one that I struggled with, although a few more solvers for this one. But the rating of 89.9 seems very low for the level of difficulty.

I am curious as how Paul thought of today's (Tue May 2) diff 9 x 9.

I was harder than usual for me. I solved with about 2 hrs left on Tues. I was the 29th person to solve it.

Haven’t attempted it yet. I still have Sunday’s 12x12 to complete, plus today’s easy Killer and medium sudoku.

I can't do that. I get too anxious.

I normally try to do each day’s puzzles on the day, but sometimes I just don’t have the time. I was away with a group of friends over the weekend and ran out of time.

I did, thanks. But I didn’t get to finish the 12x12 and I missed out on a few other puzzles over the weekend.

It’s a nasty one, alright! I thought I had it worked out a couple of times, but I keep getting stuck. I’ll keep plugging away.
