Thank you for your Christmas gift, nice effort. I found it original and very amused, medium difficulty. In my case I started with the perimeter and finally I did the center.

I did too; but then somewhere after almost an hour I must have messed up and met a dead end....to be expected I guess as I just cannot solve the 12x12s almost all of the time nor most of the 10x10's..... [sad] and [mad]

Hi eclipsegirl and all,
I just found on my history a user puzzle not included in your list:

https://www.calcudoku.org/user/2014-05-28

It is a twin puzzle 7×7 no op by pnm and it's worth 5 points

Just for completing your ultimate list [smile]

Well spotted [thumbup]

I checked the database to see if maybe more puzzles fell through the gaps, but this was the only one.

There are a few more puzzles like the first one on the list ("6x6, by ? Zero pts"), I'll try to figure out
what the deal is with these.

Thank you so much for finding this.
When I created this list a few years ago, it was a challenge.

hello,
if some of you who can tell me how you found it ( did you like it ? it was easy or a little difficult for you ? ), that would be cool, just to know for the next one (per-haps...), thanks [thumbsup]

Thanks for the new puzzle fzpowerman. I found it difficult to make inroads at first, with lots of pencil marks (a bit like Friday’s 10x10 in many ways). But once I got going, it filled up quite nicely and it was satisfying to see it all come together.

Thank you very much for the puzzle, I found it very amused, medium difficulty, in my opinion, due to the size of cages, only a few with 3 cells and linear shape, and not individual given numbers. In general, to create these puzzles it requires time and effort to verify the unicity of the solution. [thumbsup]

Very well done, fzpowerman [thumbsup]

I got stuck at first (even with a lot of pencil marks) and resorted to trying out a guess [blush] which ultimately turned out to be wrong [sad] But in the process I stumbled upon a secret clue [woot] that led to an "analytical" solution once I'd abandoned my fishing expedtion :-) And that solution had a very nice "flow" to it, with step following upon logical step [thumbup]

Sometimes a puzzle will seem hard in a "random" way at first: At some point you get the sense that there aren't any singlular, "nifty" clues and that you can only get ahead by "brute force". But it's quite rewarding to find out, once you've embarked on trial and error, that the nifty clue (or clues) was there all along, just waiting to be found. That's one of the best kinds of puzzle [smile]
