Top 25 today are all sub 5 minutes and there's still over half an hour to go.

Yes, I see that......thinking maybe the 4:45 might be too high and am now thinking in the range of 4:30-4:45......some users are getting pretty fast on a daily basis (not just a one-off for some users like myself (a 3:52) and others)

I personally think it's not only that many grow faster, there are a lot of new fast subscribers too: only one year ago, three out of yesterday's four fastest puzzlers (including me) had not solved a single timed 8*8, if I'm right.

I severely underestimated the agility of some users as the previous post has suggested a sub "3" might be the only ones that get into the top 25 :(......(where is crying emoticon when you need it)

But I did my 4th best time today 3:21.x and I’m already outside the top ten with over 5 hours to go.

Whether that will remain the case remains to be seen ...
