turn off phone disable calendar alerts / email alerts / screen saver / screen locker close and lock all doors close the curtains disable the doorbell

For me, the timed 8x8 was actually the only reason to become a subscriber. If we had always had one attempt a week, I would probably still be a non-subscriber. Besides, it would be even more frustrating to ruin your puzzle having only one of it every week.

The days you have only one you'll know that other solvers will have more chances to outperform. And then on the days you have none you'll know that other people are getting that extra 1 to 5 points while you are not.
