I'm thinking now I should disable a lot of links / buttons for the timed puzzles on touch devices,
to prevent these accidental "clicks".

That would be great, Patrick! Thanks.

Hi Patrick

I note that the problem has not yet been solved. I was doing the 6x6 timed just now. I had already quit twice and my 3rd attempt was going quite well when I accidentally clicked on the upper left corner of the screen and found myself looking at the Spanish version again. I clicked the back arrow and was asked something along the lines of "are you sure you want to resubmit this form?"

So I clicked yes and found myself back on the timed puzzles page, but it's now telling me I've already submitted four puzzles. [cursing] [cursing] [cursing]

Correct, pretty busy, one thing at a time..

(I was doing the "year to date" ranking)

Thanks Patrick

My own fault for being careless. If it happens again, I won't make the same mistake when I'm asked if I'm sure I want to submit the page again.

Cheers
Paul

Well, it is on the list, so it will be fixed,
possibly as the next thing [blink]

Thanks Patrick [namaste]

The most frustrating thing for me today is that I was on course for only my 3rd ever 7 point day - currently top 10 in the 8x8 and top 25 in the 5x5. [cursing]

Now down to 10th and 25th, so will probably end up with only 4 points. [cursing]

I think I'm probably talking this a bit too seriously. [confused] :-) [scared] [thumbsup] [thumbup]

Taking things too seriously???>>>how about travelling to my dauhter's to keep my daily puzzle in tact as we had a horrendous wind storm......next door, a 150' + fir tree was blown over (his yard is 160' wide and this tree fell from the boundary of one side to just over the property line on the other side)......he had 4 vehicles and this tree fell so that it went between them.....so no power and had to go to my daughter's a 2nd time for supper and submit a puzzle.....however,when we got home we found power was back to our house and rest of Ladysmith but not to his house and he probably won't have power for about a week!!!!!

That's pretty intense alright! [thumbup]

How far away does your daughter live?
