Meanwhile, I had an awful 5x5 today... over a minute and a half, barely in my top 1,250!

I had an awesome 4:12 with a couple of cells to go when I suddenly noticed I had 2 5's in the bottom row [cursing] and it took about 3:40 to figure out where everything had to be switched to solve.....how I wish these puzzles had the "correction indicator".....but then I'm sure the faster puzzlers would become even faster and I would REALLY be left behind!!!

I don't think it would make that much difference to the faster puzzlers, but it would certainly reduce the number of frustrating incidents that the likes of you and me suffer on a somewhat regular basis!

How true.......we can only persevere and keep [smile] .....after all it is only a game albeit somewhat frustrating at times and probably encourages us to try better!!

Today's 8x8 25th spot a 6:23....who would have thought this would be happening on a regular basis a year ago [sad]

There were only 39 people who had completed the puzzles that particular day.
There always seem to be a lot of people who get a time in less than 7 minutes, so when some of the small group of slower people finish their puzzle in 6 minutes, the top 25 will automatically be around that 6 minutes.

I had my 8th fastest time today (3:47.739) and it's not good enough for a top ten finish. [scared] [cursing] [confused]

I had a 6:09 and it problem won't make the top 25 [cursing]

Actually, you got 25th place, while I got 11th. I hate being 11th. The only thing worse is being 26th!

I had to laugh when I saw your post as I didn't get what was so wrong with the 11th place and then it dawned on me and I see your point that #11 is as bad as #26.......however, in my case I would love to get a #11 all the time!!!!

Woo Hooo [thumbsup] a 5:04 tonight and ye old ticker was just a pounding with excitement!!!!

Now, what do you do when you add 7+1+2 and think it adds up to 11.....which I did and then spent 6 minutes trying to find my mistake......that's for tonight's puzzle.....a far cry from last night's.....(a 13:07) unreal [cursing]
