What kind of a "pattern" was this puzzle?

Miniblock as always [biggrin]
It was a nice type of miniblock puzzle though: 2 miniblocks had the numbers 1/3 in them and the other 2 had 2/4. These seem to be the fastest for me, probably because the keys are nicely spaced on the keybaord (if that makes sense...).

This is really incredible! You should probably talk to Lloyd's of London about insuring those fingers of yours.

Also, this is the first official sub 3 time, but it is after the timer logic was reworked. So this probably wasn't your literal first sub 3. Looking at the best times table I'd guess you are the only person to be faster than 3s even with the new timer, but based on the top-3 average I'd guess that you've been faster at least twice.

Again, incredible.

I've tries to get better at these, but still the diagonal ones are best for me.. But at least I finally bested sheldolina, which I thought i'd never do [razz]

When I already know a puzzle the diagonal seems to be the fastest puzzle for me, too.
But as the mini block pattern is a lot easier to recognize, both of my sub-4's have this pattern.
The diagonal pattern I often see when I've already solved the puzzle [angry] , though there are some easy (non-timed) diagonal puzzles which I was able to recognize immediately.

Hmmm interesting... How do you guys fill in the diagonal puzzles? I would fill the diagonal first, then move top right, then down left, which leads to quite some abundant movement... (to be exact, I would fill it in like this, starting top left: r-d-r-d-r-d-(uu)-u-l-u-(ddd)-l-u-l-u-(dd))

Well my style is mostly d-r-d-r-d-r-u-l-u-l-u-r-d-r-u then move to the block under the starting one and d-r-d-r-l-u-l-d. Wish I had time to draw a picture, but I hope that makes some sense.

There are 28 moves (or something like that) plus the numbers so 44 in total. Though the down-right and left-up moves are done by pressing the keys at the same time, so they are more like one move each.
