For a diagonal, I go (starting in top left) rrr-ddd-lll-uu-rr-d-l.
Especially for one where the numbers count up, such as
1234
4123
3412
2341.
Then you can just go up and down the keyboard: 1234321-43234-121-4

For this puzzle, I would do: 1212121-up-up-343-down-down-down-43434-down-down-2
I assume this is not a really fast way to solve the puzzle, my fastest time is 2,538, which doesn't come even close to jpoos 1,7

That 1,7 was done on a miniblock puzzle though, on a diagonal pattern I wouldn't get anywhere near that.
