Post Anomaly in figures
I was interrupted doing today's 8x8 timed and then got totally stuck and ended up taking over 30 minutes to solve the puzzle. I think this may be my second slowest ever time, but definitely not my slowest as there was one day I started a puzzle and then had to go out and didn't complete the puzzle until several hours later and there may have been other times I was interrupted and took even longer than today.

So I decided to check where today's time stood in my overall history. It's shown as being my 719th fastest time, but my overall record says that I have solved 717 puzzles. I presume the anomaly is due to being allocated a time of 18 minutes for 3 (or possibly more) puzzles that I started, but didn't complete.

If not that, can anyone offer an alternative explanation?

You are right, something's off..

The stats I see so far:
- you attempted 729 timed 8x8 puzzles
- 11 were not finished (resulting in the 18 minute time being stored for it)
- yesterday's 30 minute+ time was your 11th slowest ever

The 719th number is correct (this does include the eleven 18 minute times)

So the 717 isn't, this should be 718 (729 - 11), I'll try to figure out why it's off by 1.

Are you positive it's showing 717?

I'm redoing the queries here, and it's giving me 718 ... [mellow]

It was 717 yesterday. It's now 718 as I have done today's 8x8.
