Thanks for the extra info.

I added some extra debug logging for your account, should know more soon [sleep]

No, it's not browser-related.

Looks like the counter forgets to increment the date.

I don't mind extra logging, but I can hardly believe that this bug has affected my account personally.
I suspect that other users – at least citizens of Moscow and nearby areas – must have encountered it, too.
I wonder if it shows up in further time zones, e.g. Tokyo is 7 hours ahead of Amsterdam, so I guess that when it's almost midnight in Tokyo, Japanese users see “7 hours and 1 minute left”. But what happens in a minute: will they see 7 hours and 0 minutes or 31 hours and 0 minutes?

So, how's it going? Does the logging work fine, considering that I usually have more than one Calcudoku tab open?
Actually, I can share my own observations:
Code:
Server Local  Tab1   Tab2
 22:59 23:59 01h01m 01h01m
 23:00 00:00 25h00m 25h00m
 23:01 00:01 24h59m 24h59m
 23:02 00:02 24h58m 24h58m
  ...   ...   ....   ....
 23:45 00:45 24h15m 00h15m ← I've refreshed Tab2
  ...   ...   ....   ....
 23:59 00:59 24h01m 00h01m
 00:00 01:00 24h00m 00h00m
 00:01 01:01 23h59m 00h00m ← Tab2 gets frozen
 00:02 01:02 23h58m 00h00m ← Tab2 will stay frozen until I refresh it
  ...   ...   ....   ....

Not sure if it is the same issue as above, but this is what just happened: a few hours ago I opened a Calcudoku in a browser tab and simply left it there. The countdown kept ticking, and now it says,
Quote:
Tomorrow's puzzles will appear in 24 hour(s) and 32 minute(s).

This should be fixed now too, but needs to be tested [sleep]
