Post Highlighting/bolding unfilled cells
I normally use the '+' key to indicate that I know the value in a cell is correct. This BOLDS the number and gives the cell a background color.

Today I accidentally highlighted a cell that had no number in it. This highlighted the cell, which I didn't expect - mostly because I've solved a lot of puzzles and apparently hadn't managed that particular typo yet. I then wondered what use this feature offered, but that's a topic for a different thread.

The bug:
Shift+1 and Shift+2 pencils in 1 and 2 in a cell.
'+' highlights the cell. The background color changes and the penciled values disappear.
Shift+1 is when it gets really weird. The cell remains highlighted, but now has penciled in number. But it is a 2, not a 1. Presumably the penciled 1 and 2 were still present but hidden by the background color. So typing SHIFT+1 removed the penciled 1 and also brought the penciled 2 back to visibility.
'+' un-highlights the cell. It appears empty with no background color.
Shift+3 pencils in a 3, as expected, but also re-reveals the penciled 2.

(Note: Shortly before this I'd hit the new X icon in the toolbar.)

Did this turn out to be a bug or is their a way to highlight cells with no value/pencilled values ? Would love that option for the larger puzzles e.g. 12x!2 where you've pencilled a cell that has to be certain values & then highlight it in say yellow to remind yourself that those values are used in the row or column.
