Post Not an important bug
Patrick,
I have edited the stickie about book puzzles more than 44 times.

The count of the number of edits no longer increases, and the date of the last edit at the bottom doesnt change.

I am sure you never envision a post being edited more than a few times. The two stickies are different in that I try to keep them up to date..

Thanks, I may take a look at this at some point [smile]

(trickier maybe because the forum system is not my software)

Patrick,
I really dont care about the count of the number of edits.
I am more concerned that the date does not change.

I am going to write that statement in as I edit the two stickies.
I believe it will help some notice that the post has been updated.

Thank you,
E-girl

I know this is obvious, but you could copy the message content to a new message with an edit count of 0 or 1 and sticky the new one.

There is an even simpler solution.
Whenever I edit the sticky, I just write the edit date at the bottom. [biggrin]

Patrick doesnt have to be bothered with anything

Thanks, but I'll check it out anyway. Sometimes these things are an indication of a bigger problem [scared]

I am sad that I asked you to look into this.
I should have know you didn't write the code for forum system.

It is ALWAYS a pain debugging someone else's code.

Forgive me
