Solved puzzles ticker disappeared

Post subject:  Solved puzzles ticker disappeared
Since yesterday, even though I never toggled the checking box in the settings, my "solved puzzles ticker" at the bottom of the page doesn't appear any longer. Also the number of solvers on top of puzzle isn't updated unless I refresh the page. I tried to check/uncheck the box in the settings page, but nothing happens.
Has anyone else the same problem?

Yes, same here. And the name of the person who most recently solved the puzzle you’re working on no longer appears.

Sorry about that: the renewal of the keys needed for the "HTTPS" connection is now done automatically (every 3 months),
but still has to be done manually for the connection that carries the ticker + "last solved by" info..

I’m still not seeing the solved puzzles ticker. Nor am I seeing the name of the person who most recently solved the puzzle, except for the timed puzzles.

That is odd.

I'm now thinking the cause may be something specific to your setup,
like an ad blocker that doesn't like the "ticker traffic" ?

Are you sure it’s working for everyone else?

I mainly access the website on my iPad, using Safari as my browser. I went into setting and turned off the “block pop-ups” option. I’m still not seeing the solved puzzles ticker. Is there something else I need to do?

I'll test on a iPad.

edit: tested and checked a bit, and this seems to be a problem specific to older iPads.

(saw it here on an iPad Air from 2013, but not on a recent iPod touch)

I'll have to dig a bit more to see if there's a workaround.
