Error highlighting broken in light mode
I don't know if it's related to the addition of dark mode, but the error highlighting for groups seems to be broken for the original mode now - from today's difficult 7x7

Re: Error highlighting broken in light mode
Possibly related occasional error: Orange "cursor" highlighting cell you're currently "in" disappeared While solving a timed 6x6 using only my physical keyboard (in Firefox on Windows 7; yes I know that's Very Old), I just noticed that the orange highlighting of the currently "active" cell disappeared. It was possible to work around the problem of not knowing which cell I "was in" by making sure the invisible "cursor" was in a specific corner (by pressing the right or left key and the up or down key at least five times), moving it from there to the intended cell(s) using the arrow keys and then entering the number(s) using the number keys. I managed to complete the puzzle in this way, meaning that cell selection and number entry using only the keyboard are still working as intended even though the highlighting occasionally disappears. Yesterday I had the same problem one or two times in non-timed puzzles. Toggling between dark and like mode didn't solve it, but (saving the state of the puzzle,) logging out, emptying the browser cache and then logging in again did. (edited to add:) Oops, I don't know I'm accidentally cross-posting about the "pencil indicator" error discussed here. Patrick, please feel free to delete/ignore/move this post if that's the case

While solving a timed 6x6 using only my physical keyboard slowly getting rid of bugs/glitches (just now for example the colouring of the puzzle menu when using the site on a phone..) I'll test the timed puzzles now.

Playing while in dark mode:
I cleared the puzzle, the highlight in various cells did not disappear.
ETA: I tested it again, after I posted it and it worked the way I expected it to work.
ETA2: Used the eraser to erase a highlighted cell. The cell remained highlighted.
