Is it too difficult?

Should it be made a bit easier, or maybe change it so you have 2 days to solve it?

This one should be comparable..:

I think yesterday's was a bit easier than the previous two weeks and if you keep it at that level, then one day to solve it should be sufficient. If you increase the difficulty level back to that of the previous two weeks, then an extra day to solve it would be a good idea.

Agree exactly with paulv66 and would prefer that the level stay a little bit easier than the previous two weeks for which I only batted .500

Would it be possible to alternate?

I would want the tougher 2 day KS on Friday on the weeks when Sat's extra is the 7 x 7 extra.

This last one is very interesting (and really difficult).
9 days have elapsed so I think there si no problem already in showing part of the solution,
i.e., row 7 = 567928143.

Out of interest, does the figure shown for the number of people solving a puzzle include those who solve it after the solution has been published?

Good question, and yes, it does.

Time to fix that [smile] , so it'll show "Solved 100 times so far (75 for points)" or something.

Totally flummoxed by this Friday's killer sudoku. Had a busy day, so not as much time as usual to spend doing puzzles, but first time in over a month that I've failed to solve a puzzle within the time limit. [cursing]

If you're going to make them this difficult, I think you should allow an extra day to solve them.

Second week in a row that I've failed miserably to solve today's difficult Killer Sudoku. Not sure why it's causing me so many problems as there seems to be quite a few people solving it. But I guess it's something of a blindspot for me. Maybe it will cure me of my obsessive hunt for keeping a perfect score.

Ohh.. so that's why you're always up at the top on the weekly points list now! :-)
